Site launches its Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Program

The Directors of Site Group International Limited ("Site", ASX:SIT) are pleased to announce the launch of its innovative Engineering Professional Experience Work Integrated Learning Program initially being offered at our Clark and Myanmar locations. Site are targeting to fully launch the program by the end of CY2017, with a target of 300‐500 hundred students to contribute revenues of AUD $4‐6m during CY2018.

The program, which Site has been developing over the last 18 months will assist University Engineering students from around the world to achieve adequate and meaningful professional experience stipulated by Work Integrated Learning requirements of accredited engineering programs. Engineers Australia refers to this process by stating that accreditation ensures academic institutions consistently meet national and international benchmarks.

THE ENGINEERING PROFESSION A Statistical Overview, Thirteenth Edition published by Engineers Australia in February 2017, states there were over 14,800 domestic and 5,100 international students commencing accredited Bachelor level engineering study in 2015, and over 52,700 domestic and 20,300 international students presently enrolled in accredited Bachelor level engineering programs with Australian Universities.

The program is designed to provide University Engineering students with professional experience through interacting with Site's live training environments, such as the Safe Live Process Plant and Underground Mine, while undertaking a structured engineering design challenge. The structure of the course is intended to be such that students will be inducted in to respective live facilities and have to carry out a number of engineering design challenges and tasks in project teams, while interacting with the live environment.

Initially the program will be available at Site`s Clark, Philippines facility as well as with our Partner Uniteam in Myanmar. It is intended to be offered later in PNG and other countries giving graduates the opportunity to travel and work abroad in a focussed, industry aligned environment.

Throughout the program students will undertake learning while completing work activities aligned to relevant Engineering standards for a total of 480 hours, expected to be delivered over 8‐12 weeks. The program differs from design based classroom WIL which is sometimes completed by students who are unable to find placement.

Site have secured a large multinational Oil and Gas company and an overseas University to commence a first cohort of the program, to be delivered in Myanmar this Half Year utilising Site's Safe Live Process Plant. Furthermore, in addition to exploring Australian domestic student market, Site is in discussions with a large study abroad network about running programs in the Philippines, Papua New Guinea and Myanmar for engineering students from countries such as the United States of America and Asia.

In Australia, University Engineering Programs are generally accredited by Engineers Australia who have guidelines stipulating professional experience requirement, or Work Integrated Learning, as part of a Bachelor program. These programs require relevant exposure to engineering work, and based on discussions with Universities, Engineers Australia, Industry and students, there are a

substantial number of students who struggle to find relevant Engineering related professional experience.

Internationally, Engineering programs are guided by international engineering agreements including the Washington Accord, the Sydney Accord and the Dublin Accord, which recognise the substantial equivalence of accreditation systems and accredited programs across international boundaries at the Professional Engineer, Engineering Technologist and Engineering Associate levels respectively.

The USA, United Kingdom, Hong Kong (SAR), New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, China, Chinese Taipei, India, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Russia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Turkey are co‐ signatories to international agreements. The coordination and breadth of engineering study and accreditation globally presents a substantial market for Site to service in delivery of structured professional experience programs.

Site has modelled its program via ongoing relationships and discussions with major engineering universities, whom have Work Integrated Learning stipulations of approximately 480 hours.
