The big drop in the oil market two weeks ago saved Florida drivers a state average of $0.09 per gallon at the pump.
Retail prices averaged $3.37/gallon on Sunday which is $0.21 lower than this year’s high and $0.75 lower than what drivers paid this time last yar.
Oil prices plunged 17% two weeks ago, but a recent 4% rise could limit how much further gas prices fall.
West Palm Beach-Boca Raton ($3.58), Naples ($3.48) and Port St. Lucie ($3.43) lead the state in highest average prices.
Crestview-Fort Walton Beach ($3.18), Panama City ($3.19) and Pensacola ($3.26) are the least expensive places to buy gas.
Florida’s price is below the national average price of gas, which is $3.43/glalon.
