'Game-changing' wireless power bank now £26 in Amazon Spring Deal Days sale
Amazon has discounted the "extremely handy" Anker Magnetic Power Bank, offering shoppers almost 30% off
The Amazon Spring Deal Days sale is ending soon, but plenty of bargains are still available. If you're looking to invest in a new power bank, one of my favourite offers has seen the black Anker Zolo Magnetic Power Bank, discounted from £35.99 to £25.99, offering shoppers almost 30% off. The blue, pink, and white versions are also on sale for £26.99, offering shoppers a 25% discount.
The power bank offers wireless charging for most of the recent iPhones, and there's an option for wired charging for several devices. According to the product description, the power bank offers up to 7.5W wireless and 30W wired charging. It adds that you can expect full-day energy, "with a 10,000mAh capacity, get up to two full charges for an iPhone 15 or 1.5 charges for an iPhone 15 Pro Max," while "advanced temperature control keeps the power bank below 38°C during wireless power delivery."
The wireless charging was a game-changer when I borrowed my boyfriend's Anker Zolo Magnetic Power Bank during a recent holiday. I was so impressed that I've just ordered my own. The magnetic feature made the power bank so much easier to hold than my usual one, and I appreciated the design when taking photos or looking up directions.

When I didn't need my phone, I didn't have to worry about the cable or power bank getting lost in my bag; it fit in my pocket, too. That said, it did feel bulky in my pocket, so it could be worth opting for a slimmer, lightweight version if that might be an issue for you.
On Amazon, the power bank has received an average rating of 4.6/5. One reviewer wrote: "As someone with a keen interest in tech, I’ve used plenty of different types of power banks in the past. They come in extremely handy to power the various gadgets I have lying around. Whether it be smart phones, head or earphones, camera lights, wireless speakers and mics or even the handheld frother I use in the kitchen.
"I got this particular charger from Anker to keep in the car, as I often leave the house without checking my battery percentage only to find it at an extremely low level. This power bank offers wireless charging thanks to MagSafe, which is perfect for iPhone users like myself, which means I can attach this to my phone without having cables dangling around. Plus it doesn't add too much bulk and fits into a pocket."The bottom of the power bank has a power button, a type-C port and LED lights which show the percentage level and the power status of the power bank. You also get a type-C charging cable and the user guide. The MagSafe panel has a smooth finish with the visible MagSafe charging area marked out. On the reverse there is a textured pattern with the Anker branding, which, to be honest, I didn't find particularly appealing. But, it performs well and has come in extremely handy."
However, someone else commented: "This product isn’t that bad, for a 10k pack it’s actually pretty good but it definitely a little heavy and bulky. I wish I got mine in black to match my phone and case and the white looks silly with it. Also wish this one came with a kickstand and the power button is a little tricky to press. I think you guys should just get the slightly more expensive zolo with built in cable and kickstand and wait for a sale."
Another thought: "Gets extremely hot when charging. Will be returning. Very disappointing!! Wanted something to charge fast and lightweight. This is NOT it!!"
