Celebrity Big Brother star sparks fears he’ll QUIT before entering the house after ‘Macy Gray style meltdown’ live on TV

CELEBRITY Big Brother star Mickey Rourke has sparked fears he'll quit the show after he had a major meltdown on another TV show.
Back in 2020, Marvel actor Mickey, 72, appeared on Fox's primetime show The Masked Singer.
He took part on the fourth series as a Gremlin, but was the second performer to leave the competition after singing Ben E. King's hit Stand by Me.
But in a shock move, the TV star unmasked himself, becoming the first celebrity to do so before being voted off.
The Wrestler actor decided he'd had enough wearing his Gremlin costume and pulled the mask off after performing.
“Damn it, it's hot, I'm taking it off,” Mickey said, which surprised the show's panelist and host Nick Cannon.
This ultimately meant that he was out of the competition.
Earlier this year, UK viewers saw singing legend Macy Gray stormed off The Masked Singer stage after she was voted off - but she was then seen returning to stage, seemingly moments later.
But in fact bosses were left scrambling for nearly an hour to coax Macy back on stage - none of which was seen on screen.
A whistleblower said: “This has never happened on The Masked Singer before.
“When Macy stormed off stage everyone was frozen in shock but as soon as she reached backstage, crew removed her mask so they could talk her down.
“Macy was almost shellshocked to start with and was basically gutted to be out so early because she really enjoyed being on the American version - when obviously she did brilliantly - so was totally blindsided.
“It was the shock of it for her as well as the upset and in that moment she had a very raw, human reaction and wanted out.
“For a professional performer to reach that point shows how badly she felt.
“Obviously The Masked Singer isn't a singing competition and is just a bit of fun, so being voted off was no indication of her talent, but no one could believe a global superstar like Macy had lost it like this.
“It took everyone backstage ages to talk her round and poor Joel was on stage essentially doing a stand-up routine to try and keep things under control.
“Eventually they managed to persuade Macy to go back on stage and be properly unmasked and sing for the last time.
“But it was totally wild.”
It comes as The Sun revealed that Macy was in advanced talks for the ITV reality series, planning to redeem herself with the British public after her diva strop but opted not to go ahead.
A source said: “Macy’s fury at being voted out as Toad In The Hole earlier this year was such a talking point and bosses thought she would also make a great housemate.
“She’d seemed keen to rewrite her narrative after The Masked Singer drama but in the end decided not to go ahead.”
Mickey will be joining Patsy Palmer and politician Michael Fabricant actor Jack P Shepherd and 80s pop star Chesney Hawkes in the spy house next Monday when the series begins.
