PILOT Share Fair 9 Announces Full Line Up of Presenters

An impressive line up of presenters has now been confirmed for the ninth annual PILOT Share Fair being held on Wednesday, 21 November 2007 at the Aberdeen Exhibition Conference Centre.   

The event, sponsored by Shell U.K. Limited and Barclays, aims to provide small and medium sized suppliers to the oil and gas industry with information necessary for long-term business planning.  Twelve major oil and gas companies will inform attendees about their activities scheduled over the next 18 months, representing potential new business estimated to be worth in the region of £4billion.

AGR Petroleum, Aker Kvaerner, BP, ConocoPhillips, Maersk Oil North Sea UK Ltd, Marathon Oil UK Ltd, Petrofac, Shell UK Ltd, StatoilHydro, Talisman, Technip and Total will all be exhibiting at the event.

Paul Dymond, operations director for Oil Gas UK said: "The PILOT Share Fair is an excellent opportunity for suppliers in the UK to keep abreast of business developments and for industry to gauge suppliers appetite for staying committed and focused to investing and developing the UK continental shelf.

"We expect a busy and energetic day with more than 600 delegates from the UK and overseas listening to over 100 presentations and attending more than 400 one to one sessions."

During the day, companies will be talking about their strategies for the North Sea, including upcoming drilling programmes, technology requirements, environment and integrity projects, plans for operations and maintenance, decommissioning and development projects, as well as providing key company contact details.  Delegates can listen to group presentations or gain detailed information in pre-booked private one-to-one sessions with prospective clients.

PILOT Share Fair 9 opens at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on Wednesday, 21 November from 7.00am (for registration).
